Guo Jun, Deputy Secretary-General of CPPCC led a team to investigate in Safe-Run

On June 2, Guo Jun, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) , led a team to visit Safe-Run Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Safe-Run) for investigation and research as well as convening a technical and skilled personnel training work research meeting. Wu Xinming, Secretary of the Kunshan Municipal Party Committee, and other leaders accompanied the investigation. The Kunshan Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the CPPCC, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Education Bureau and other functional departments, as well as many business representatives, vocational colleges and training institutions also participated in the investigation.
Deputy Secretary-General Guo Jun and his entourage visited Safe-Run's precision manufacturing workshop and assembly workshop. Chairman Zhang Yingzi introduced Safe-Run's intelligent, informatized and automated operation mode and products to the visiting research team.
At the meeting, Chairman Zhang Yingzi gave a detailed report on the company's talent structure and the current status of technical personnel training around the research topics. The company extends the depth of on-the-job training by improving its employee on-the-job training network, organizes the "Staff Skills Talent Class" to consolidate employee’s knowledge of job skills, and creates a good atmosphere for highly skilled employees, so as to gradually and effectively improve the overall technical level of employees, as well as cultivating a group of talents with reasonable structure, high-quality technical skills, and compound knowledge. At the same time, Chairman Zhang Yingzi also proposed at the meeting that with the rapid development of industry, society and enterprises should pay more attention to the professional development and social status of skilled workers, and the way to give them more attention and sense of honor, so as to cultivate and guide blue-collar workers to realize the sublimation from worker to craftsman. At the meeting, Guo Jun asked in detail about the company's selection, use, education, and retention of technical and skilled talents, concerned about the government's policy support for talent training, and cared about the remuneration and benefits of skilled workers, working hours and other issues, and put forward propositions on how to retain key talents and how to better cultivate high-quality technical and technical talents for the country and the society. At the research seminar, relevant persons in charge of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Education Bureau, enterprises, vocational colleges, training institutions and other units introduced the current situation of technical and skilled personnel in Kunshan, the design of technical personnel training policies, main practices and training, the scale of running schools, etc., and discussed on optimizing the supply scale and quality of technical and skilled personnel. After listening to the report, Guo Jun highly affirmed Kunshan's experience and practices in establishing a complete technical skills talent incentive policy system, training work system, skilled talent introduction system, and vocational skills competition system.
Guo Jun pointed out that in the new stage of development, enterprises must grasp market opportunities through innovative technology, management and services. They cannot do without high-quality labor relations, which means enterprises should be able to find, recruit, and retain the technical employee needed by the enterprise. To achieve high-quality development, training and building a team of high-quality technical and skilled personnel is the key. It is necessary to strengthen the policy guarantee for technical personnel training, improve the incentive mechanism, create a social environment for the growth of technical personnel, so as to provide a strong talent support for the promotion of industrial upgrading and the transformation of traditional drivers to new ones.
