Yesterday, the final of the first session of “Safe-run” Intelligent Technology Innovation Contest was held at JingXian Hall at Suzhou University that hosted by Safe-run & Hiscient Machinery (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., co-organized by China rubber industry association mechanical mould branch, China petroleum and chemical engineering survey and design institute of rubber plastic professional committee, Shanghai Jiaotong university school of mechanical and power engineering, Harbin industrial university institute of electrical and mechanical engineering, Mechanical and electrical engineering college of Southeast University, Mechanical and electrical engineering college of Suzhou University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Magazine of “Rubber Technology and Equipment”, Siemens factory automation engineering and Rockwell automation (China).

Miss Zhang Ying-zi – chairwoman of Safe-run & Hiscent, Mr. Ren Daiqing -Executive director, Mr. Zhu Rongyue – Executive president, Mr. Ma Shuanghua - Executive director and VP of technology, Miss Jiang Xing – secretary general of mold branch of China rubber industry association, Mr. Shi Yifeng – secretary general of Tire branch, Mr. Chen Weifang – secretary general of CCIEA, deputy secretary general of China petroleum and chemical industry professional committee of survey and design institute of rubber plastic technology, Miss Li Qiangqiang – marketing director of Magazine of “Rubber Technology and Equipment”, and leaders of Shanghai Jiaotong university, Harbin Institute of Technology, Suzhou University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology attended the final, witnessed the peak time together with nearly 400 people.

Mr. Rui Yanlian – chairman of Suzhou mechanical and electrical engineering society, Mr. Ma Shuanghua - Executive director and VP of technology of Safe-run, Mr. Zhang Yuanyi – adviser of technology center, professor Guo Weizhong of Shanghai Jiaotong university, professor Zhang Feng of Harbin Institute of Technology, professor Chen Tao of Suzhou university, professor Cai Hanming of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Mr. Zhang Ming – general manager of Siemens factory automation engineering OEM division, Mr. Chen Tong – regional manager and OEM technical adviser of Rockwell automation (China) were invited to be the judges of the final.

Miss Jiang Xing – director of contest organizing committee delivered a speech before the beginning of the contest. She introduced and reviewed the basic situation and achievements of the contest. The committee was moved by the enthusiasm in participation of the students and teachers from all the colleges and universities during the contest, she said. It is their participation pump life into the contest, added the new brilliance.

Soon afterwards, Miss Zhang Yingzi – chairwoman of Safe-run & Hiscent the host of the contest, addressed the contest. She expressed her appreciation to college and university’ teams participated, to the co-organizors and expert judges. She said Safe-run & Hiscent, as the lead in high-end machinery manufacture industry, hopes the contest push more people stand higher and come to realize the development of science and technology, to supply their support to the medium and long term goal –the enterprises realize their “made in China” by 2025!

The co-organized parties also addressed separately at the site, deputy secretary general at China petroleum and chemical industry professional committee of survey and design institute of rubber plastic technology, Mr. Zhang junliang - deputy dean at mechanical and power engineering school at Shanghai Jiaotong university, The general manager of international business of Siemens industrial sales, Mr. Cheng Jie – marketing director in greater China of Rockwell automation (China).

They made a high evaluation and affirmation to the contest.

There are 15 college teams in the final. The final format is “ entries on displays + expert judges questions reply”.

According to the draw order in advance, the teams display their works one by one on stage. The students not only display their outstanding entries, and also show the team cooperation ability. The experts expressed their great interest in the entries, they questioned and reviewed on-site.

After nearly 3 hours close competition,  Shanghai Jiaotong university won the champion by their “3D with 5 Degree Printing Design “; the second and third are Harbin Institute of Technology by their “Micro edm machine tool with three axes association”, Ningxia University by their “the restaurant intelligent service robot Android-based”, Suzhou University by their “ Intelligent tracing car and unmanned transportation”, intelligent warm winter shoes based on the Bluetooth 4.0 wireless data communication”, Qingdao University by their “Intelligent kitchen drainage pipe blockage prevention equipment”; the outstanding awards are won by Xi’an University of Technology by its “a wind power flow rate on line measurement system for thermal power plant”, Ningxia University by its “the intelligent control method and strategy, technology innovation design – intelligent residential system in view of the old people who live alone”, Xi’an University of Technology by its “four-rotor aircraft”; and other teams won the finalist awards.

The final of the first “Safe-run Cup” Intelligent Technology Innovation Contest, lasted 3 months, ended successfully.
