Safe-Run held an opening ceremony for the new production base on 8 July. The new intelligent Tire Building Machine (TBM) product launch was held in Kempinski Hotel Suzhou in the afternoon of the same day.

Overall investment of the new production base with a total construction area of over 55,000 m2 was more than RMB300 million. Multiple teams from China, France and Japan designed the new base together, creating a green ecological smart factory with advanced equipment and open modern environment for manufacturing, R&D and offices. This construction of this project started in June 2015 and the new base commenced commercial production in February 2016.

The Chairlady of Safe-Run, Ms. Zhang Yingzi, said, "The upgrade of enterprise modernization is imperative. Safe-Run will take the opportunity of the completion of new production base to further increase investment in R & D and strive to build a high-level manufacturing enterprise for the provision of better service to the tire industry. Safe-Run aims at manufacturing high-level equipment according to Industry 4.0 and Made In China Initiatives 2025 to become a world-class intelligent and fully automated machinery supplier. Through creating a characteristic R&D platform, integrating intelligence, flexibility and automation know-how into machine manufacturing and continuing to move toward “smart manufacturing”, it will make Safe-Run a worldwide top-level machinery manufacturer and an outstanding representative of Chinese manufacturing industry."

After the end of the opening ceremony, Safe-Run's management and staff guided representatives from the China Rubber Industry Association to visit the factory with advanced machinery equipment, the ecological garden, an overhead green gallery and a relaxing tea bar for employee’s break. All the details of the new base make people fully experience a true people-oriented green ecological environmental modern factory.

The new smart TBM product launch was held in Kempinski Hotel Suzhou in the afternoon.The Executive director and VP of Safe-Run, Mr. Ma Shuanghua, introduced the new product, HPC100 intelligent uni-stage Passenger Car Radial (PCR) tire TBM. On the basis of previous products, the HPC100 TBM containssignificant modification and improvement on safety, efficiency, good and stable tire quality, easy operation and maintenance, customization, quality assurance and cost-effective. Safe-Run developed and implemented a Global Patent Strategy in cooperation with well-know IP Counsel firms for the professional support to avoid potential infringement. The strict internal control measurement makes sure no patent issue during the design stage.

 The Secretary-General of Tire Branch of China Rubber Industry Association, Mr. Shi Yifeng, said, "The successful launch of Safe-Run's new products, intelligent semi-steel uni-stage PCR tire TBM series, will change the pattern of high-level uni-stage TBM purely relying on import. It marks a milestone for the development of Chinese high-end rubber machinery industry."
